It was necessary to visit again our friends of Giants guesthouse. And there they were, welcoming us with a big smile.
This time was to check other sides of the city, like Chinese medicine pharmacies, massage experts, local markets and more food.
The last day, one of the guys of Giant's invited us to show us around Chiang Mai, some places he really likes and we had not yet seen.
Budhist temple on a hill
Royal Botanical Gardens
It was nice to meet Diego and Betinha, new travel mates that we met in Indo through Lucas. They had similar plans to ours, exploring Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia... we'll see how far we go together! When we arrived to the hostel they were already part of the family, good sign!
After some shopping in the market, "Mama", a Japanese girl and Martin spent the afternoon cooking some Thai delights... delicious!!
And once again, we got the chance to share a good “family” dinner.
We found good friends in Giants, the kind we’re going to miss...
“If you just put your hand in mine,
We’re gonna live all that troubles behind
Gonna walk and don’t look back”

Hey friends, hope this is a mean to show what's uppening on the other side of the world, at least from our point of view...

PAI (30/06-01/07)
Pai is a small town that grew during “hippie times”, back in the 70s, when many Europeans came to Asia looking for a more spiritual life.
Healthy food, miracle minerals, handcrafts markets, nice bars and hostels and cool people are the characteristics of this charming little village. It seems that the hippie days left some good concepts on the table.
Our favourite: street market food
"Good life" - The best bar in town! All organic and all kinds of herbs for any purpose...
The owner, from Ukrania
The special of the house: wheatgrass shot with a cup of green tea to help to drink it
Renting a motorbike to wonder around is the best way to find cascades and surprises...
Back to Chiang Mai...
